i love february but don't like Valentine's day. why? because when you love someone you should tell them every day. every day they should feel special and valued. it doesn't take much. just a compliment or two, a thank you, a kind word. if this is too much pressure make a list of the things you love about that person and keep it handy so that when you forget or when you are angry you can find it and pick one thing to tell them. i know it's hard but being nice, being kind, loving someone else, will bring you back the same energy. try it now. and let me know how it goes. remember to be loved you must first love. and there is no wrong* way to do this if it is coming from your heart. While it's so easy to box up and lock up those feelings, holding them in will be completely obvious to those who love you. It's scary to be vulnerable and share what's really going on in your heart. I get that. But carrying around heavy feelings can hurt your back, can bring you down, and can make you really really sick. So today, try and pick one feeling to share. Maybe it's joy or excitement. Maybe, if you're feeling daring it's fear or anxiety. Maybe its LOVE.
